About the Instructor
C. Muhammad A. Haqq
thank him for his time and the wealth of knowledge that he so graciously shared with me. In 1979, I began my study of Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis with Master P. Chan in Boston, Massachusetts. I moved to Orlando, Florida in 1980 and became the first inhabitant of the Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple, first dormitory facility in the U.S. devoted to studying of Kung Fu. I enrolled in a special program for the training of professional kung fu instructors and devoted myself to the learning of the practice, principles, and philosophy of Chinese martial arts. For over four and one half years of rigorous training, I practiced Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, T’ai Chi Ch’uan (Chen and Yang Styles), a variety of Chinese weapons’ forms and a array of Chi Kung exercises and meditations. I also taught classes and was the general manger of the Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple. Since then, I have given numerous demonstrations, lectures, workshops, and seminars around the country. My students’ ages range from 4 to 70. T’ai Chi is truly a remarkable art. It is my sincere wish that my classes will help you to be healthy and at peace. Thank you. “YIELD AND OVERCOME”
